This ‘scorecard’ of key performance indicators considers the extent to which employers of short-term contractors in the aid sector conform with international standards and principles of employment as laid out in International Civil Service Commission guidelines. Scores are graded on a scale of one to ten, with ten being the highest. The higher the score, the ‘better’ the employer. As with all such performance assessments, the objective is not to 'name and shame' but act in a spirit of mutual collaboration to enable greater professionalism amongst all concerned.
